It's official!

In less than 3 months, I’ll be leaving the city I love to move to Costa Rica to pursue a Masters Degree at the United Nations mandated University for Peace. I’ll be learning alongside 150-200 students from all over the world, representing 90 countries (!!!) I’ll spend a year studying human rights from a gendered perspective, learning how to participate in peace negotiations, and better understanding gender conflicts on an international level (and probably falling flat on my face in the process, but trying my best) Couldn’t be more grateful to have my family’s full support, my friends and my co-workers blessings, and especially the unconditional love and support from my wonderful man. Most of all, I’m so excited for the next journey of my life- the first time I’ve EVER done anything on my own without my safety nets around me. Cheers to the next adventure in Costa Rica!

If nothing else, let’s hope I remember how to speak Spanish… :)
