One year anniversary :-)
I’m sitting here and he’s in the kitchen sweating bullets over 4 pans to cook me dinner…I don’t even care if the whole thing burns, its so adorable that he’s doing this. This was the best year of my life.

Listening to old songs
like Close Your Eyes by Chemical Brothers feat The Magic Numbers, Over the Pond by The Album Leaf, Lua by Bright Eyes. feels both so great and so strange to listen to music that I used to space out to for hours on end. Crazy how music can take you back to a specific, single moment.

I really want to see the best in people
but they continue to let me down. Someone I thought was my friend said something completely disrespectful about my birth mother tonight. MY BIRTH MOTHER, one of the closest, most special and sacred things to me and he made a horribly demeaning disgusting comment thinking he was being funny to his friend. I trust people too easily, I guess. Wouldn’t think someone would go that low.
